Our Minister - Dudley Sankey

Born in Montgomery Alabama January 10 1931. Attended grade school in Montgomery and graduated from Lowe's High School in 1950. Moved to Chicago Illinois to work and continue his education. Was inducted into the US Army for two years. Spent 17 months in Germany and achieved the rank of AP-3 (Corporal).
He was married in 1955 to Lorraine Humphreys and raise 5 children, three boys and two girls. He attended Malcolm X Junior College, graduating in 1959. That same year he moved to Champaign Illinois to take over the

ministry of the Church of Christ at 1402 Dublin Street, Urbana Illinois. He remained there for 5 years. In 1977 he was invited to become the minister of Northside Church of Christ in Champaign Illinois.
At that same time he worked for Prairie Center for Substance Abuse in Champaign as a Substance Abuse Counselor. He was minister of Northside for 16 years and worked at Prairie Center for 14 years before retiring and moving to California. He began his ministry at the Church of Christ in Baypoint California in January 1995.
